Permanent eyeliner · Pikesville, MD

Definition that doesn’t budge — or shout.

From an invisible lash-line enhancement to a soft defined line, permanent eyeliner opens the eye with pigment set just along the lashes — no smudging, no reapplying, and nothing that looks "done."

The treatment

What permanent eyeliner is

A fine line of pigment, placed precisely along the lash line — as subtle or as defined as you like.

At its softest it simply makes lashes look denser, with no visible line at all; taken further, it becomes a clean, defined line or a gentle wing. Either way it won’t run, smudge, or settle into your crease.

And unlike a pencil, the shape is mapped to your eye — placed to open and lift, never to close the eye in. What flatters you is decided together at your consultation.

The styles

From barely-there to defined

One treatment, dialled exactly to the look you want — chosen for your eye shape at consultation.

Lash-line enhancement result
Fuller lashes, no line.

Lash-line enhancement

Pigment tucked right between the lashes, so they simply look darker and denser — no visible liner at all.

Best for — a natural, no-makeup look.

Defined permanent eyeliner result
Soft and awake.

Defined line

A fine, clean line along the upper lashes that defines and opens the eye, without a wing.

Best for — everyday definition.

Winged permanent eyeliner result
A little lift.

Winged

The defined line extended into a subtle, tailored wing, shaped to lift the outer eye.

Best for — a lifted, polished eye.

Smokey permanent eyeliner result
Softly shaded.

Smokey

The line softened upward into a diffused shadow, for smoky depth that still reads as your own.

Best for — more drama, softly done.

Definition for real life

A natural fit

  • Sparse or pale lashes you’d like to define
  • Liner that smudges or fades by midday
  • An unsteady hand, or trouble applying liner
  • Glasses, and wanting eyes to stand out
  • An active, on-the-go routine

Let's talk first

  • Using a lash-growth serum — pause it beforehand
  • Lash extensions — removed before your appointment
  • Very dry, sensitive eyes, or recent eye surgery
  • Pregnant or nursing

A consultation settles any of this — bring your questions.

What to expect

From consultation to healed

Your style and shape are agreed before anything begins — and nothing is permanent until you approve it.

01

Consultation & mapping

We choose the style and map the shape to your eye — subtle enhancement, defined, or winged.

02

Your approval

The shape is drawn on and refined until it’s right — only then do we begin.

03

The procedure

Pigment is placed along the lash line with your eyes closed, over about an hour, comfort looked after throughout.

04

Healing & touch-up

The line settles over two to four weeks; a complimentary touch-up perfects it.

Healing

What healing looks like

Lids can be a little puffy for a day or two, and the line looks bolder and slightly thicker than it will heal — this is normal, especially the morning after.

Around days three to five it flakes lightly (never rub or peel it), and can look faded — then the true, crisp line settles by week two to four. A touch-up at six to eight weeks perfects the shape and colour.

Good to know

Permanent Eyeliner questions, answered

Does it hurt?
The lash line is sensitive, but numbing is used before and during. Most clients feel light vibration or pressure rather than pain, and the eye stays closed and relaxed throughout.
Will my eyes swell?
Mild puffiness for a day or two is normal, and usually most noticeable the morning after. It settles quickly, and a cool compress helps.
How long does permanent eyeliner last?
Typically two to five years, softening gradually. A colour refresh restores it whenever you like.
Can I wear contacts and mascara?
Contacts come out for the procedure and stay out for a few days after. Hold off on mascara and lash products until the area is fully healed.
I use a lash serum or have extensions — anything to know?
Pause lash-growth serums well beforehand, as they can affect how pigment settles. Lash extensions are removed before your appointment and can be reapplied once healed.
Can you do a wing?
Yes. From an invisible lash-line enhancement to a defined line or a tailored wing, the style and shape are mapped to your eye at the consultation.
How do I prepare?
No lash tint, lift, or extensions for the week before, and avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinners the day before. A full preparation list is sent when you book.
