Permanent brows · Pikesville, MD

Brows that look like brows.

Fine, individually drawn hairstrokes — or a soft powdered finish — mapped to your face to rebuild shape, balance, and fullness. Never blocky, never obvious.

The treatment

What permanent brows are

Pigment placed in the brows to restore shape and density — as natural or as defined as you like.

At its most natural, fine hairstrokes mimic real hair to fill gaps and rebuild a sparse or over-plucked brow. Taken further, a soft powdered shading gives a defined, "just-filled-in" finish that lasts.

Either way, the shape is mapped to your bone structure and the colour matched to your hair and skin — so your brows frame your face and read as your own.

The techniques

Four techniques, one natural result

The right method depends on your skin and the look you want — decided together at your consultation.

Nano hairstroke brows
Hair, one stroke at a time.

Nano hairstrokes

Ultra-fine, individually drawn strokes that mimic real hair — the most natural, hyperrealistic result.

Best for — the most natural, hair-like finish.

Ombré powder brows
Soft, shaded, defined.

Ombré powder

A gentle gradient of shading, light at the front and defined through the tail — a soft "makeup" finish.

Best for — a defined, filled-in look that lasts.

Combination brows
The best of both.

Combination

Hairstrokes through the front for texture, with soft shading behind for fullness and depth.

Best for — fullness with natural-looking texture.

Microblading brows
Classic hairstrokes.

Microblading

Crisp, hand-drawn hairstrokes — the classic technique, best suited to normal-to-dry skin.

Best for — normal-to-dry skin wanting crisp strokes.

Brows for every face

A natural fit

  • Sparse, thin, or over-plucked brows
  • Gaps, scars, or uneven patches
  • Asymmetry you’d like softened
  • Pale, grey, or hard-to-see brows
  • Busy mornings, or brow makeup that smudges

Let's talk first

  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Very oily skin — powder or combo usually suits better
  • Active breakouts or irritation in the brow area
  • Covering or reshaping an old brow tattoo (needs assessment)

A consultation settles the shape, colour, and technique — bring your questions.

What to expect

From consultation to healed

Your shape and colour are agreed before anything begins — and nothing is permanent until you approve it.

01

Consultation & mapping

We map a shape to your features and choose a colour to match your hair and skin.

02

Your approval

The shape is drawn on and refined together until it’s exactly right — only then do we begin.

03

The procedure

Pigment is applied with the chosen technique over about ninety minutes to two hours, comfort looked after throughout.

04

Healing & perfecting

Brows settle over four to six weeks; a complimentary touch-up perfects shape and colour.

Healing

What healing looks like

For the first few days brows look bold and darker than they will heal — this is normal, and they soften quickly.

Around days five to seven they flake lightly (never pick or peel), and can look faint or patchy for a week or so as the skin renews. The true colour and crispness settle by week four to six, and a touch-up perfects the result.

Brows questions, answered

Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is used before and during, so most clients feel only light scratching or pressure. Comfort is checked throughout.
How long do permanent brows last?
Typically one to three years depending on technique, skin type, and lifestyle. A colour refresh restores them whenever you like.
Which technique is right for me?
It depends on your skin and the look you want — from the most natural nano hairstrokes to a defined ombré powder. We decide together at your consultation.
Will they look natural?
That’s the whole approach. Shape is mapped to your features and colour matched to your hair, so brows frame your face rather than sit on top of it.
I have oily skin — can I still have brows?
Yes. On oily skin, ombré powder or combination usually holds better than fine strokes, which can blur over time. We’ll choose the right method at your consultation.
Do I need a touch-up?
A perfecting session around six to eight weeks is included, as skin heals differently for everyone. A refresh every year or two keeps them looking their best.
How do I prepare?
Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinners the day before, and skip brow tinting or waxing right before. A full preparation list is sent when you book.
